Portuguese, graduated in Communication Design by IADE - Creative University, Lisbon. With a successful career as a Designer and Consultant for User Interface and Usability. In 2013, together with her husband, she decided to exchange her urban life in Lisbon for the tranquility of a remote village in Romania where she is a co-founder of Aurora Community, an educational center for sustainability, restorative and regenerative practices, and a residential community for an environmentally low-impact lifestyle. Aurora is a project located in the Western Romanian Carpathian Mountains, a region containing the last wildlife refuges in Europe and severely affected by deforestation. Witnessing deforestation so closely led her to found Association Terra Livre in 2014, an NGO with the mission to "buy to protect" threatened landscapes and to preserve them for present and future generations. Terra Livre has been serving as a reference and inspiration for Terra Agora Foundation. Since 2008, she has dedicated an essential part of her life to Vipassana meditation and its practice.
